A vacancy currently exists for an Inventory and Logistics Planner based out of our Sunshine West Head office, reporting to the Supply Chain and Inventory Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Inventory Planning of the AGCO harvest requirements for supply into all warehouses
  • Monitor outstanding supplier backorders and provide feedback and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders
  • Review stock shortages and make alternative supply arrangements where necessary
  • Initiate stock transfers to satellite warehouses
  • Timely and accurate analysis of inventory on a monthly basis, including recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure that shipments are received in a timely manner
  • Validation of supplier invoices and confirming in stock management system
  • Perform all duties in conformance to company policies and procedures

Multiple sources of information refer to a diverse range of internal and external sources such as procedures and practices in other areas, team, companies etc. The ability to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic material.   • Analyse inventory movements and take action that will optimise inventory holding while maintaining target fill rate levels
  • Ensure that parts are ordered with suppliers within approved intake plans
  • Supply documentation and process support to all warehouses
  • Provide management with timely inventory reports

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
  • 2 years of experience in a related field with emphasis on MRP
  • A high level of computer literacy with advanced competency in Excel highly regarded
  • Well organised with an emphasis on accurate record keeping
  • A team player who can work autonomously and meet deadlines
