  • About the role:

    This is a great opportunity for a Category Manager who is ready to take on a new challenge. Working across our Supercheap Auto Tools range, each day will bring something different but key responsibilities of this role will be: 

    • Sales & Financial Performance with a focus on optimization of profitability through promotions and price management
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure sales and profit is managed within KPI’s and guidelines
    • Managing the range with a focus on product development, identifying opportunities to bring new and/or improved products and services to the category
    • Plan promotional activities which maximise sales, units and gross profit
    • Review and understand what is happening in the market place and recommend product prices to optimise revenue and profit

    About you:

    To be successful in this role, you will be a results driven and outcome focused individual with a strong commercial background, you will also bring: 

    • Demonstrated experience in achievement of sales, GP margin and optimising inventory budgets
    • Ability to lead and execute promotional planning, range planning and negotiate trade partner agreements
    • Strong analytical skills, coupled with advanced capabilities in Excel
    • Extensive experience as a buyer/category manager
    • The ability to engage, build lasting relationships and influence key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
