Target Business Services Location: 19 Rylet Street Wangaratta Vic 3677 Salary: $58,000 plus 9.5% superannuation Our client, Shamim & Yanan Pty Ltd., operates a Subway store in Wangaratta Victoria. Client is looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in our business. The client is looking for an energetic, hardworking and motivated manager with proven leadership skills and experience in the retail management. You will be responsible for complete management of the store with a focus on customer service, operational efficiency, cost control and growth. The job requires performance, planning and implementation of efficient store operations on a daily basis; previous experience and knowledge of the Subway operation systems would be a great asset to you. The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining product mix, stock levels and service standards, selling goods, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Minimum Requirements: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field 3+ years' experience in a similar role In this role your main responsibilities include: Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets/targets are achieved Daily management of stock to minimise out of stocks, stock loss and maximise sales Implement purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices Execute & manage visual merchandising within the store Manage and prepare budget reports, rosters, stock take and ordering Promote and advertise the establishment's goods and services Deal with queries, complaints and feedback from customers Analyze sales figures and forecasting future sales Maintain awareness of market trends and monitoring competitors Maintain records of financial transactions Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Oversee all operational aspects of the store such as stock control & rosters Manage all costs associated with the store such as labour, food etc. Manage all aspects of employee performance; including training of new employees Support and develop your team to drive performance The successful candidate will have a passion for the retail sector, be career focused and have strong management qualities. Other key skills and experience will include: Possess a strong work ethic with high standards of presentation and service together with a hands-on approach a passion for providing exceptional customer service ability to lead and motivate the team to meet our high service standards proven ability to achieve sales, wages & stock loss targets demonstrated skills in stock management Reasonably skilled at working with Microsoft Word and Excel a daily focus on ‘drive the sales, lift the KPIs and customer centricity You must have work rights in Australia or be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
