The Fulfilment Centre Trainer works with all members of the Amazon team and is constantly working to improve the long-term capabilities of associates. The ideal candidate will measure associates productivity and quality applying learning tools to improve both. They should maintain expert-level knowledge in all production departments; evaluate and improves processes within work areas; refine learning tools and techniques across the FC; assists in measuring the effectiveness of learning; measure impact of his/her development efforts; improve associates' job-related skills; develop, maintains and applies learning tools (methods, checklists and skill building agreements) to encourage associate development. Identity areas for associate cross training and support and implements the training to support the objective; assists in driving success of peak and non-peak training plans.

Key Job Elements

  • Coaching conversations with new associates to determine appropriate levels of support required
  • Providing feedback to all levels of associates and leaders within the FC
  • Perform data entry including creating, entering and updating training rosters
  • Develop, deliver and assess a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced associates
  • Lead & Support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates
  • Assist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FC
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes
  • Problem Solving responsibilities: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve
  • Complete understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training
  • Complete all standard work and assigned tasks on time and to standard expectation
  • Ensure area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities
  • Work within process path regularly (rotate through paths) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers
  • Positively impact and work with our associates to succeed in their roles

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be willing to support different shifts and areas as required (including nights)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • L&D/training experience
  • Must be very organized and able to handle multiple and changing projects/priorities
  • Willingness to participate in and support the Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Effective Time management skills, including exemplary attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Authorization to work in AUS without sponsorship
4 day roster (Wednesday – Saturday; 07:00 – 17:00)

Preferred Qualifications
  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • High levels of integrity and discretion
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
