Are you a highly organised individual with attention to detail that is second to none? We are looking for a new Assistant Category Manager to join our experienced team and provide critical support both in store and the support office. Reporting into the Food Operations Manager, this role is your opportunity to build your career whilst demonstrating your keen commercial acumen and superior customer service. No two days will look the same as you take ownership of tasks including:

  • Accurate and timely management of menu and pricing reviews
  • Coordination of the promotional activities
  • Manage queries, including pricing, invoice and store queries
  • Work closely with store teams to ensure effective execution
  • Supporting with assortment reviews and file maintenance
  • Administrative and operational tasks as directed
  • Supporting new store mobilisation & execution
  • Sourcing & setting up new suppliers
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment
  • Experience with POS and ERP software will be highly regarded (Navision/SAP)
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills including Excel
  • A high level of initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
