We are on the look out for a skilled sales professional to help lead and develop a sales team based in Prahran. Actively selling and developing staff.

The Company

Our client is a leading Victorian retailer specialising in Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry good with Showrooms in both Metro & Regional Victoria. Due to an internal opening and outstanding company growth throughout 2020, and into 2021, we are on the search for a new Sales Manager to join the team in the Prahran Showroom.

We are inviting people with the right attitude, experience, and skills to apply for this position to help grow our client current customer base in the area, while developing the store team on a daily basis.

The Role

  • Sales Manager opportunity based in the Prahran showroom
  • Full time opportunity available
  • 6 Day trading roster with no late night trade
  • Weekend work required - Rotating roster working 3 out of 4 Saturdays
  • Weekly RDOs and No Sunday trade
Duties
  • To understand our customers requirements providing them catered solutions to their needs
  • Provide specific professional advice and recommendations
  • Monitor the progress of customer orders, both personally & of the broader team, to ensure their expectations are delivered
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction post installation on all sales
  • Manage and coordinate the full consultation, ordering and delivery process
  • Provide on floor management for the broader sales team in support of the Showroom Manager
  • Guide, develop and assist sales staff in closing orders with their customer base, as well as assist in developing on job skills and product knowledge
  • Additional duties to be advised upon application
Expertise
  • You have a proven capacity to listen and understand customer requirements
  • You are confident making recommendations on product
  • You are proactive in quantifying issues and their resolution
  • You come from a background in sales with exposure to leading and assisting the development of teams
  • Importantly you must enjoy engaging and helping people
  • Bi-lingual in both English and Mandarin viewed as Extremely Beneficial
