Ribtex is a family owned Craft and accessories business supplying major craft retailers.
We are looking for a Product Coordinator who would have a keen eye for trends in accessories, jewellery and craft items. We seek someone comfortable being hands-on, who can easily maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and has strong administration skills. A successful candidate will be happy to engage with Chinese suppliers over email to search for new products to present and will be a self-starter. We are looking for someone with a background in product that also has experience or an interest in learning in website maintenance, social media, blogs and product photography.
Key responsibilities:
- Form relationships with major retail buyers and present new products.
- Understand trends in the craft and accessories market.
- Source and select products from China and liaise with factories ensuring the products are packed to Australian retail standards.
- Able to meet sales budgets and analyse sales information.
- Assist the team with range reviews, product presentations and planograms.
- Analyse products sales history and provide on trend options for replacements.
- Liaise with sales, customer service and warehouse to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
- Provide quality feedback to suppliers.
- Complete Excel spreadsheets for buyers and suppliers
- During normal circumstances travel to China and make decisions on new products at a low price point
- Report monthly on sales activity to management.
- Create header cards, packaging, display box artwork and other graphic artwork as required.
- Support the website and social media channels.
- Create engaging social media posts and maintain website blog.
- Taking and editing product photographs.
- Supporting the supply chain process
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role. Anyone from a wholesale craft background would be looked upon favorably.
- Experience dealing with overseas suppliers will be highly regarded, especially China
- Able to form relationships with suppliers and buyers
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as strong administration skills
- Experience with product photography, website maintenance and social media management would be looked at favorably.
- Good organisational skills
- Self sufficient
- Able to work within a team and manage time efficiently.
