About the position
This role has day to day responsibility for Administration for Reverse Logistics processes and operations across The Good Guys Australia. The role assists the Reverse Logistics operation team, performed by a 3rd party provider, & works closely with the Reverse Logistics providers, The Good Guys stores and buyers to ensure optimised outcomes (financial, inventory). The key purpose of the role is to ensure returns related tasks (faulty goods, SOR’s, warranty insurance returns) are performed in accordance with The Good Guys policies, guidelines, etc. and that claims processes are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with stores to ensure compliance with process and policies, highlight non-compliance (damaged product, packaging standards, labelling, etc.)
- Follow up with suppliers on queries or issues
- Assist with in-transit stock issues
- Conduct stock on hand investigations – claim investigations, invoice processing and error investigations
- Liaise with suppliers/repair agents and follow up customer repairs
- Review recalls, scanning and ad-hoc returns/storage
- Assist with inbound & outbound freight logistics
- Support stores with any CRC queries
- Maintain the integrity of the CRC processes
- General database maintenance and updates
- Ad hoc duties as required
About our ideal candidate:
We are looking for an individual who possesses the below skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders
- Accurate and timely data entry skills
- Possesses a working understanding of Australian Consumer Law
- Strong systems literacy, including understanding of working directly with transactional systems
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Is task, timeline and process focused
- Is action orientated and has a sense of urgency
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal skills)
- Exceptional problem solving skills
