The Role:

Total Tools Townsville are looking to bring on board an experienced retail manager with a passion for enhancing the experience of our customers. This is a role which provides the support of a “Big Box” business with the flexibility of a small business. You will be charged with managing a high performing team & utilizing the various departments within that team to deliver successful sales and margin results.

Decisions you make directly influence the overall success of the business & you are given the flexibility to do so with the backing of a local Franchisee & National Support office to guide you along the way. Controlling & developing the team culture is paramount, and you will have the ability to coach the team to deliver job satisfaction whilst achieving the highest level of sales, merchandising and customer service results for the Franchisee.

As the store leader, you will be required to lead by example in this hands-on role

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of sales and margin targets
  • Customer service culture: Delivery of culture which is extremely customer service focussed and delivering this service to our customer base
  • Sales drive: Development of an existing high-performing sales team and ensuring that sales and margin results are achieved.
  • Knowledge is power: Ensuring the team is always on top of our product range and can offer excellent advice and solutions to our customers.
  • Facilitating excellent merchandising standards to excel the experience of our customers.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5 years retail management experience
  • Sales competence
  • People & Performance Management
  • Proven ability to set, achieve and exceed targets
  • Tool product and technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Successful completion of Year 12 – Secondary School
  • Cert III in Retail Operations or Cert IV in Frontline Management preferable but not essential
