Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organisation

To ensure the delivery of sustainable and profitable retail market share growth in Pacific operating within the parameters of the Global Retail CoE SLA by:

  • Supporting the Senior Manager, Store Operations and Training and acting as “first amongst equals” with peer group to deliver a joined-up world class retail business
  • Implementing, driving and ensuring compliance with agreed Global Retail processes and standards for field and RBO operations
  • Implementing and driving operational excellence and operational projects, with agreed Global Retail processes and standards for field and RBO operations
  • Developing and executing local retail relevant and specific processes in close cooperation with the Global Retail

    Key Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to the Senior Manager, Store Operations and Training on operational opportunities at Market level by analysing retail KPI’s and local retail trends and needs
  • Adhere to Global standards for all retail operations, retail back office, and monitor/evaluate established processes to guarantee stores’ full compliance
  • Identify and communicate Market needs and best practices to the Senior Manager, Store Operations and Training and the Retail Director
  • Implement all (operational) functional components of the adidas Group retail business model (logistics, IT, reporting, operations, projects, systems) in partnership with the respective functions and in line with Global Retail standards
  • Drive compliance with all Global Retail standards, taking Market requirements into account, unless legally prohibited from doing so
  • Collaborate with local and global profit protection to drive improved operation standards and profitability in retail stores
  • Manage and maintain all retail tools, systems and platforms
  • Implement and drive a retail stores communication strategy and become a key gatekeeper for communication to retail team members
  • Support in drive key operational projects, including system integrations, omni-hub, workforce management systems, operational and reporting systems
  • Support in day to day reporting and analysis needs for the RBO
  • Complete and support Adhoc and administerial tasks where required by Senior Manager, Operations and Training and/or Retail Director

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Strong retail skills, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience of retail operations
  • Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing and negotiating
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and efficiency skills
  • Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Geographical mobility
  • Fluency in English and local language of Market HQ

Requisite Education And Experience/Minimum Qualifications
  • University degree in business (ideally with retail or business focus) or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the retail and trade marketing Industry, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG, with an operational background
