About the role

The Retail Systems - Support Analyst XX role exists to support store staff and internal stakeholders in the effective use of retail technologies used in store including relevant interfaces with IHG’s systems. The main focus is stores undertaking a Sapphire Transformation or Rebrand. The role will involve understanding of in store retail systems stores using Major POS (DART/Pacsoft, Sterland, Striven and Sym-Pac) together with Store-facing IHG technologies including all POS interfaces and in store processes.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain strong customer-focussed relationships with store staff
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency at store level through the use of technology

  • Managing IT components for Sapphire Relays and store rebrands.

  • Customer support requests managed effectively and within SLA’s

  • Support day-to-day interactions between stores & IHG host systems

  • Support day-to-day operations in stores around IHG initiatives such as loyalty, promotions etc

  • Document processes and procedures in relatable format for end user

  • Installation / configuration and Implementation of Store Technologies
  • Perform IT related tasks for In-Store Projects as required

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience managing or administering small projects
  • Experience in the retail industry

  • Strong knowledge of POS systems and other technologies used in stores

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to problem solve and work effectively under pressure

  • Attention to detail & follow up

  • A valid Australian driver’s licence

  • Certificate IV in training and assessment highly desirable
