Senior Retail Stylist

Calexico is a multi-brand, high end fashion boutique operating for over 10 years, located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Housing over 120 international labels, Calexico is a curation of only the best international designers, catering for the Australia woman and man’s day-to-night clothing and accessory needs.

We are looking for an experienced, outgoing and confident retail Senior Stylist to join our Calexico team. You must have 4+ years of styling experience in high-end fashion.

Your Role:

Sales – You must love a fast-paced working environment and appreciate high-end designer fashion. We need a competent and competitive stylist who is comfortable with clients and isn’t afraid to make styling decisions. Calexico is proud to nurture close, personal relationships with our clients. Our sales environment relies on brand knowledge and relationship building, you must have strong abilities in these areas to succeed in this role.

Styling – Your role will largely entail designing and styling our pieces on walk-ins and your own clients. Your prior styling experience should allow you to choose the pieces you know will work on your clients for their body shape and lifestyle.

Team player – We are a small team who work closely together and empower each other. You will have the opportunity to see behind the scenes of a successful fashion boutique. From buying right through to pricing and selling strategies both online and in-store, everything is completed in-house. You will have exposure and gain insider knowledge to every part of the fashion industry.

Role Requirements:

4+ years of styling experience in a fast-paced, senior retail role.

You must love selling, styling and working as part of a team.

You must be reliable and accountable to Calexico, your in-store team and your clients.

You must be willing and able to take the initiative to be flexible and help out in any facet of the business.
