Senior Inventory Manager

Sarah & Sebastian are currently seeking a driven and skilled senior inventory manager to join our team.

Senior Inventory Manager requirements:

  • Overall inventory management of a large portfolio of raw material and finished good SKUS.
  •  Inventory planning for all raw materials to meet production requirements for online, retail and wholesale accounts.
  •  Ensuring lean inventory is practiced – adhering to company expecations of inventory holding .
  • Accurately forecasting requirements to ensure no shortfalls in stock with varying lead times between international / domestic suppliers. 
  • Sign off all product COGS calculations and setting of RRP’s for new collections and products to fit retail and wholesale margins. 
  • Oversee large portfolio of purchasing budget with the buying team
  • Management of product life – providing data-based recommendations to the business of slow-moving products / discontinuations to reduce value of inventory holdings.
  •  In depth reporting on inventory holdings, purchasing patterns and sales data to drive better business decisions.
  •  Master data management of all product data, bill of materials and pricing.
  • Direct management of for staff members. 
  • Work closely with Directors and General management on growth succession plans


  • Exceptional Excel skills required, including the ability to manipulate large sets of data
  • Robust understanding of pricing strategy, previous jewellery pricing experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen; ability to see the big picture and the ability to understand and solve for strategic objectives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Abiity to lead, motivate and successfullt manage a team
