Maxima currently have several fulltime, retail traineeships available within a large-scale, reputable SA owned and operated supermarket chain. These traineeship opportunities will see you earning whilst learning to gain a nationally accredited Certificate III in Retail over a 12-month period.

Areas include:

• Deli
• Floor/Night fill
• Register/kiosk

This entry level opportunity is extremely diverse and will primarily see you being customer facing, learning the ropes within the retail sector. With full training, paid study time and a dedicated Maxima Consultant for mentoring, kickstart your career today!

Duties:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Process sales through relevant software
• Learn and maintain extensive product knowledge
• Assist with stock control and inventory
• Upkeep of tidy and clean work environment
• Deal with customer enquiries in person and over phone

Role Requirements:

• Current drivers license- P or C class with reliable vehicle
• Flexibility to work across 7 days
• Previous customer service experience
• Strong computer knowledge
• Ability to build rapport with a variety of people and groups
