Purpose of the role

A Business Leader (BL) is the customer, operational and technical expert. They lead with a customer-centric mindset, that is pivotal in incorporating the Voice of the Customer. They are instrumental in the development and retention of their people. Their customer focussed mindset drives and delivers on retention, growth and profitability.

The BL leads with a commercial and business sense and they excel in the planning and deployment of the customer and CT business plans. They are an integral part of driving the company’s cultural commitment and brand DNA. Their leadership capabilities build and nurture relationships to ensure cohesive team management.

You'll be responsible for:
Coaching and developing team members
Motivating and inspiring your team
Provides an outstanding & consistent customer experience by adhering to CT’s Operational Excellence framework.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the internal & customer-facing technology systems
Knowledge Expert in all corporate travel product that delivers the best outcome for the customer & CT
Expert in the review of the customer’s travel program.
Commercial mindset - understands key business drivers and implications.
Superior presentation skills.
Ability to present options that drive compelling financial and operational value to deliver growth and profitability.
Identifies opportunities for business improvement.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Open to learning and developing the skills required to succeed.
Demonstrates superior knowledge of external competitor activity and market trends to deliver valued insights

You'll need to bring:
Leadership experience
Minimum 5 years in the travel industry
Proven track record in customer connections and an ability to deal with a diverse range of clients
Excellent communication skills
The ability to manage change
