We are looking for an expert in Merchandising to lead a team of 6 in a fast paced retailer. This position is crucial for the business and will be responsible for important projects within Planning and Inventory.

Our client is an Australian leader retailer with local manufacturing, strong values and +400 employees. You'll work in a passionate and fun team, reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of 6.

Description

In this strategic position, you'll use your influence and leadership skills to implement and drive the merchandising planning, ensuring the partnership with internal stakeholders such as Buying and Logistics team.

You will also be responsible for the S&OP process and the inventory strategy to assure right stock in stock and manage the OTB.

In your first months in the role, you will work along with the Supply Chain team to understand the systems and assure the visibility on stock and delays, prioritising the inventory. As a strong leader, you will also couch and develop your team to assure a solid process.

Profile

We are looking for an expert in Merchandising planning, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory control, product deployment and distribution network models in the Retail industry.

Experience in furniture/hard goods is a plus.
