About the role

If successful you will provide crucial support to the Senior Category Managers to deliver organisational & divisional strategic goals.

You will assist in product selection/development, promotional strategies, & manage data integrity for the merchandise team.

Your ability to adapt with change, thrive in a fast-paced environment & your natural ability to engage & liaise with internal & external stakeholders will be the key to your success in this role.

As this is a fast-moving business everyday will differ, but the key responsibilities for this role are;

  • Research range & sales data to facilitate the Category Manager's range review decisions & support CM decisions for range selection & deliverable outcomes
  • Drive promotional activity - coordinate artwork briefs, catalogue planning, eDM activities & new line information
  • Co-ordinate planogram builds
  • Ensure products are launched & executed in full, on time & with clarity to our stakeholders via administrative support
  • Maintain integrity across our internal database
  • Coordinate store communications for product launches & updates
  • Act as a key point of contact for supplier & store queries

About You:

To be successful in this role you need to be a results driven, focused individual who will also bring:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Category Manager or Junior Buyer
  • High attention to detail, accuracy & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships & manage stakeholders
  • Strong computer literacy - Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills is a minimum & ability to quickly learn & pick-up new skills in this area
  • Experience with Pronto & Cognos would be advantageous
  • Ambition coupled with a "can-do" attitude
