In this exciting role you’ll assist the Buying Manager in analysing past and future decisions and actions to ensure we deliver upon our targets relating to World Class Wholesaler and Best Store in Town – thinking and acting in a Shopper Led Way.
What You’ll Do
- Provide key information and administrative support to the Buying Manager to support the growth of their category
- Provide analysis on category segment, promotions, brand and SKU performance, trends and insights that will assist the Buying Manager to better manage the category range, pricing and promotions
- Generate reports for supplier communication and promotional verification
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Ensure processes are in place and analysis is provided on potential deletions and new product development performance
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing timelines
- Enthusiasm, can do attitude and willing to learn new skills
- Experience in FMCG or Food service is preferable
