You’ll be the Subject Matter Expert in Delicatessen providing expert knowledge and support to our retailers. You’ll provide product assistance to our Sales & Operations teams including critical food safety and compliance issues, niche ranging and ticketing and help implement our Merchandise Fresh strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Support Retail Operations to grow the Fresh offer across our retail network
• Educate and coach (e.g. training sessions) Retail Operations teams to ensure they have a good understanding of Fresh
• Advise on Fresh new lines, ranging, ticketing, catalogue compliance and identify sales opportunities
• Support retailers in creating a successful Fresh retail environment and share industry benchmark, trends, and best practice.
• Provide Fresh-specific business support e.g. review store Fresh budgets, formulate Fresh business strategies, and advise on how to maximise Fresh sales
  

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years’ experience and In-depth Fresh grocery market knowledge ideally within delicatessen
• Strong understanding of Fresh food compliance and legislative requirements e.g. HACCP, Food Safety, Cold Chain and WHS Legislation
• Strong influencing skills and ability to establish trust and build relations with retailers (owners and managers)
• Effective promotional and sales skills, with a strong track record of closing successful deals and meeting sales targets
