We have an exciting opportunity to join the Partnerships Business team on a 12 month contract. We see this a great opportunity for a Finance or Statistics graduate with strong numerical ability. Utilising your skills in data analysis you will help us build a game plan to negotiate Metcash Food Trading Terms with a defined group of merchandise suppliers, leveraging Metcash’s scale to deliver exceptional commercial outcomes for our business, enabling future growth strategies for the independent network, and ensuring compliance with the Grocery Code of Conduct as signed by Metcash.

What You'll Do

• Through data analysis, reset and simplify Trading Terms with our Supply Partners to drive incremental supplier investment and sales growth
• Engage with nominated vendors
• Ensure new terms are Grocery Code of Conduct compliant
• Identify and implement ways of simplifying internal processes
  

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Statistics and/ or Finance
• Knowledge of the Australian Grocery Industry
• Commercial acumen and dispute resolution skills
• An ability to work to tight deadlines
• Contract Management experience
