The role:

We are looking for an experienced multi-site manager who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is excited about the youth fashion industry to come onboard as an Area Manager to join our WA Regional team. Reporting to the Senior Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing 5 stores, working in partnership with another Regional Sales Manager who manages their own cluster of 8 stores. You’ll work closely with a Regional Support, who will assist you in managing Sales, Wage Control, Loss Prevention, Team Development and Visual Merchandising KPIs across the region. You’ll also be working alongside a Team Coordinator who facilitates recruitment, onboarding and training for the region.

What we are looking for:

  • 3–5 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop large teams
  • The ability to build professional working relationships with Head Office, Regional and Store Team Members
  • The ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgement

What we are looking for:

  • Prepare and manage wages on a fortnightly basis in conjunction with National Sales Manager
  • Analyse sales trends for stores; weekly, monthly and yearly within your region
  • Set KPIs for store teams and motivate them to achieve these targets
  • Manage and respond to escalated customer complaints
  • Support the Stocktake Team Leader in the preparation and execution of all stocktakes within the region
  • Partake in the analysis of stocktake results and corrective action for stores who do not achieve Company benchmark
  • Support the Loss Prevention Department in identifying, investigating and resolving loss prevention concerns
  • Monitor the implementation of promotional setups in store
  • Ensure store presentation standards are maintained to Company standard
  • Work with the Team Coordinator to identify, monitor, and assist with region recruitment needs and training and development needs
  • Support the HR Department in identifying, investigating and resolving performance concerns
  • Ensure Team Members within the region are working within City Beach conditions of employment and Company policy and procedure
  • Manage the performance of the Team Coordinator and Regional Support
