Job Description

The purpose of this role is to oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The store manager will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, develop store strategies to optimize profitability, meet profitability goals and manage staff effectively.

Main tasks Core objectives include:

• Training, development and supervision of staff including the assigning of specific duties and projects including cleaning of the shop and fortnightly cleaning of all windows inside and out.

• Providing staff with feedback, coaching and performance evaluations

• Coordinating daily staffing and rosters

• Monitoring of stock and inventory

• Ensuring the achievement of financial objectives and company goals

• Dealing with customer service issues such as complaints and queries

• Placing orders with wholesalers

• Promoting and marketing the business

• Placing monthly top up orders working within budget specified (spend value is to be discussed with the store owner prior to orders)

• Placing indents in consultation with the store owner. All spend value of indents to be approved by the store owner before orders are placed in order to meet required budgets) The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company. Required Qualifications Required qualities

• Diploma, Bachelor degree or higher qualification

• At least 2 years relevant employment experience in a similar role

• Any private business information regarding sales, expenses, etc not to be discussed at any time with anyone else.
