Job: QLD Sales Rep for two great Pet companies

Start date: ASAP

Location: QLD

Summary: Like minded, high quality pet brands in the pet supply industry are looking for a self driven, autonomous and up for a challenge individual to work as a sales rep on the ground visiting new and existing pet stores, vets, groomers and doggie day cares to drive sales for a major dog food company and a major dog accessories brand (2 separate companies – 3 separate brands).

Opportunity: You have the opportunity to run your own business as an independent contractor with your own ABN. A fixed rate of $500 will be provided initially (first few months) to cover travel expenses per week plus commission - available to the right candidate. Earning potential of 6-10k per month based on sales results. 

Working with two innovative & well established pet companies (one dog food brand and two dog accessory brands), that have been trading for over 14 years. Both companies have well established customer bases but require a driven, dedicated rep to really grow the business. 

This opportunity allows you to have great autonomy and work life balance. It is entrepreneurial and gives you ownership and accountability for your role.

You will be working with 2 similar minded, driven and ambitious, creative minded companies that both have a strong “can do” attitudes.

We are looking for people in Queensland with a strong work ethic who are able to work autonomously in the field and from home as required.

Opportunities for you

As a Sales rep you will be responsible for growing the business in your state by executing sales and marketing programs

You will support and drive sales across multiple stores and accounts by developing relationships and delivering results. Working autonomously, you will also collaborate with both companies that you will represent on weekly basis.

Your goal is to:

· Build a deep understanding of your customers and their business to analyse and identify key opportunities for new sales and growth

· Develop and use existing retail relationships to maximise brand position and ensure great merchandising display in each store

· Develop and implement merchandising and marketing programs aimed at increasing sales specific to the channel and your accounts

· Work to set sales targets, and be accountable to those on a monthly basis

· Identify and establish new account opportunities while expanding range assortment of the brand in existing stores and accounts

· Visit multiple stores daily and conduct in-store training to store staff, driving brand awareness and empowering the store staff to maximise sales

· Train existing and new accounts, and on the features, benefits and values of the brand and the different products

· Provide feedback to management on retail and customer satisfaction

· Identify opportunities and implement participation in best retail or community events, trade and consumer shows, and sales and product training

· Perform other tasks as directed

What you bring to us

· Over 3 years of experience in the pet industry and relationships with pet product retailers

· Experienced and comfortable being in stores daily and doing in-store demos

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and integrate feedback

· Self-motivated, disciplined and driven, capable of exceeding targets and getting results

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook

· Great attention to detail, enthusiasm, and highly organised

· Hard work ethic, dedication with a desire to drive growth

· A strong work life balance, and a positive and happy attitude
