About the Role

The Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for working as part of the RBGV Shop retail team, providing exceptional assistance to our customers, building meaningful relationships seeking to enhance the visitor experience and build customer loyalty.

The Retail Sales Assistant identifies sales opportunities, ‘up-selling' and completing sales using the point of sale system. In addition, provide accurate information on a range of products in the store, promote the RBGV brand and image and effectively interacting with customers to provide outstanding customer service and maximise sales revenue.

All team members will contribute to the maintenance of the store by replenishing stock, labelling and receipting stock, light cleaning and other administration.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in retail sales environment with experience using a point of sale system and proven experience in cash handling and reconciliations.

Additionally, you will have excellent customer service skills and able to build relationships with a range of customers. Outstanding team work, with an ability to achieve a common goal will be highly regarded.

This is an part-time position working 12 hours per week at Cranbourne Gardens. Rostered shifts will be Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.
