Responsibilities
This role will provide you with fantastic exposure to retail planning; a function that strives to accurately forecast sales trends, plan stock levels and monitor brand performance. Reporting into a Planner, you will have scope to own your role, identify opportunities to reduce risk and increase sales, review stock models by climate, grade and location and address problem areas.
Savvy and experienced with Excel, you are able to sort and analyse data to support commercial decisions. By managing stock from delivery to distribution, you will maximise existing and new store performance through effective allocations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inputting, updating and cross-checking data in Excel
- Allocate stock to stores with brand guidelines focusing on key ranges and promotional activities
- Review and manage store stock levels and work closely with the operational team
- Ensure systems integrity through information management and data reporting
- Consolidate stock pre and post delivery
About You
- Good numerical and analytical skills, you have strong attention to detail and intermediate Excel skills
- Ideally you have past experience working in a retail store with understanding of operations and stock flow
Our ideal Allocator, will have worked within a retail environment and have a practical understanding of stock flow. As an observant and detailed person you take notes and can follow computer processes. Our Allocators are an integral part of the merchandise-planning department - your work will be used to assist decisions that influence profitability and drive sales!
