The position: 

As the result of remarkable growth, we are looking for ECom Operations Leads to provide operational expertise & input into the creation, design, operating model and flow of our new Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs), eStores and related Smart Fulfillment initiatives. 

This is an exceptionally exciting time to join us as we embark on significant e-commerce growth. 

In this exciting role you’ll work closely with and provide direction to other teams including People & Culture, Store Format & Design, Logistics and Replenishment to develop stores that operate efficiently and cater for specific needs of CFC/eStores and related Smart Fulfillment initiatives. 

Key responsibilities will be: 

  • Supporting the design & implementation of new CFCs and eStores.
  • Facilitating effective delivery of new initiatives affecting our operational teams
  • Engaging with internal and external eStore partners to provide an operational lens to work being delivered.
  • Coaching & exercising influence to key stakeholders
  • Providing subject matter expertise in the creation and delivery of the operating model & operational process.
  • Process development and working alongside automation providers on our needs

About you: 

To be successful in this role, these are the attributes we’re looking for:

  • Strong retail supermarkets operational experience at minimum store manager level / leadership role within a CFC or similar environment
  • Confidence in driving initiatives and with liaising with varied stakeholders
  • Strong planning capabilities and time management. 
  • Exposure to store design or e-commerce design
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A robust comprehension of store tools, processes and ways-of working
  • A good understanding of online store operations, replan or logistics would be an advantage
