Our Store Managers efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of one retail site to maximise sales and profitability.

About The Role

  • Achieve budget within designated store, and benchmarks for sorting/production, stock rotation and staffing
  • Provide training, guidance, direction and feedback to all workers, raising serious staff issues to the your Manager.
  • Complete rosters and authorise timesheets.
  • Effectively manage volunteers, community work and correctional services participants in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Ensure all workers adhere to the Code of Conduct and Salvos Stores Operating Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Manage in-store marketing activities and promotions as directed, ensuring visual merchandising and display of stock is in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Complete required administrative duties within required timeframes.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including but not limited to, Site Security, Health and Safety, Point of Sale Operation, House Keeping and Monthly Stock Take.

About You
  • 3-5 years relevant retail experience
  • 1 or more years retail management experience preferred
