The Role:

Total Tools Caroline Springs (inventory control over our Caroline Springs, Hoppers Crossing, Mornington & Brendale stores) are searching for an experienced inventory controller to work with the excutive team and assist our growing stores.

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and maintain optimal levels of inventory through the effective management of stock integrity and stock purchasing. This is a new role for our business, so an exciting opportunity to show us your skills in this field.

You will have outstanding organisational skills with a high focus on accuracy, and ideally previous experience using an inventory system.

Your communication skills, thirst for product knowledge and attention to detail will enable you to perform exceptionally in this role.

We will provide you with the training and knowledge to be the best you can be.

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven experience in inventory control
  • Responsible for all tasks required to ensure optimal in stock position at all times which includes stock integrity
  • Creating supplier orders for core stock
  • Reviewing and analysing inventory reports to identify out of stock, low stocks, overstocks & obsolete stock
  • Manage all stock queries from goods receiving Creating credit requests (Purchase Order Returns) Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts as required
  • Follow up on orders placed including purchase orders and back orders A team player who is self-motivated

Experience using Pronto is preferred, but not essential
