About the role

We are looking for a full-time Inventory Co-Ordinator to join our Planning Team, reporting to the Merchandise Planner. If you have a love for fashion, are highly sales focused and have previous merchandising experience, then this is the job for you. 

The Inventory Co-Ordinator will manage the processes and workflow of all inventory and will assist the broader Merchandise Team to improve stock holdings and integrity. As the key point of contact for all tasks relating to stock, duties include but are not limited to; the management of rolling and yearly Stock Takes and Sale periods, David Jones sales processing and the allocation of all inventory. Using retail trading mentality to the achieve the Scanlan Theodore business objectives, the Inventory Co-Ordinator will foster growth and ensure the effective communication and movement of merchandise is present within the entire business.

In this role, you will be required to

  • Be focused on achieving business sales targets
  • Posses an overall ability to support and implement the business strategy
  • Demonstrate clear problem-solving and resolution skills
  • Be a team player and establish workable and effective relationships with all colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure, responsible and highly organized
  • Uses initiative and works proactively
  • Assist the retail and digital teams with any additional duties when required
  • Proactive and agile approach to role as the company expands

To be successful in this role you need to meet the following essential skills and experiences

  • 1-2 years relevant experience in a similar role in luxury fashion
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail are essential
  • Understand the product trends in the Australian market
  • Advanced communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Exemplary work performance history
  • Exposure to particular use of Apparel21 or similar is preferable
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
