We are a young and fast-growing company specializing in providing trendy and stylish wall art. With the business growing and the team expanding, we are looking for an experienced framer and factory manager to join our team, starting immediately. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications & experience

• We expect you are an experienced picture framer. Especially experience with canvas stretching, fitting, and poster frame assembling.
• We need you to have experience working in a team environment where the jobs are done by a team together. If you were mainly working independently and don't really enjoy working with a team, you are probably not very suitable. 
• We expect you to be an open-minded person. What we are doing here is very different from most traditional picture framing businesses. We need someone who would embrace change and reinvention.
• We love someone who is comfortable challenging old-fashion, so-called-experience, or any old-school-rules. In other words, we need you to be able to think out-of-box.
•  We are growing fast and expanding quickly, it will be a great bonus if you ever worked in a large business and understands how a large organization operates.
• Proven leadership! Not necessarily on a picture framer role, any role where you were able to lead people, build a team, and get the team to work together archiving goals. Extra bonus if you have people management, workflow management, or performance management experience. 
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast pace environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Oversee Gioia's framing factory. Plan manufacturing job, monitor progress, manage performance, identify issues, and possible improvement opportunities.
• Lead the framers' team, allocate duties, oversee the workflow 
• Apart from management, a significant part of your daily ob will still be hands-on with the team, making picture frames, stretch canvas, assemble poster frames.
