Apex Home Improvements manufacture sheds, verandahs, carports and fencing from our Edwardstown store plus we sell an extensive range of cut to size steel products and accessories.

We are seeking an additional all rounder who is experienced in Welding steel structures and has a broad knowledge of steel products. You will be assisting staff in our store area and our on-site installation team with various duties.

The main role will be to work in a team environment in our welding and steel factory area, packing orders, cutting steel, fork lift driving, deliveries, assisting on site installations, customer service and general store duties

We are a busy store where duties vary from day to day. We offer training incentives for the right person plus the chance to gain experience in other areas of the business.

About The Role

This role requires heavy lifting and standing. The right person must be physically fit and be prepared to work in hot and cold weather in our factory and on site.

The right candidate will need Welding and steel experience.

The position is casual to start then moving onto full time for the right candidate. Store hours are - Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 5.00pm. You may also be required to work some Saturday mornings from 8.30am - 12.30pm

A drivers licence and fork lift licence is required.

This role requires indoors (factory) and working outdoors in all types of environments. Duties will vary every day at our busy steel factory. Every day is different.

You will be working with a close knit team specialising in the production of steel framed structures and working with customers to complete orders.

Skills And Experience

Drivers and forklift licence are a requirement as you will be require to drive our vehicles for deliveries and assist our installation team if required.

Experience in Welding is a must requirement for this role.

Customer service skills, reliability and working as a team member is greatly desirable
