We are looking for a Product Specialist - Upstream, Ready to use, Filtration & BioReactors (RFB) to work with our Australian & New Zealand team of 45 employees. Do you have a passion for Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Upstream? Then we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for building funnel of future business through early design in of Cytiva products into customers workflows and manufacturing of new & emerging therapies and product designs.
  • Support Upstream customers with Design In & Application workflows to improve the breadth of all Cytiva products & technologies to suit each customers workflow.
  • Support progression of sales opportunities for their products/solutions/services in set territory. Key daily activities include, but are not limited to application & technical support, opportunity progression, growing share at existing accounts.
  • Provide the required pre-sale product demonstrations, proof of principles studies, post-sale installation, training and/or customer service/support activities for the product portfolio.

Who You Are
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred in related scientific field with minimum 5 years of experience in Cell Culture & Upstream Bio Process Technologies
  • Proven ability to understand and present application and workflow based material in understandable terms
  • Proven interpersonal & communication skills, Strong presentation abilities
  • Proven problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions).
  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to find opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve customer workflows
  • Scientific laboratory experience in biopharmaceutical/biotech/academic setting preferred.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) and spend time away from local base.
