Engagement with multiple key stakeholders working cross functionally to delivery business and category objectives
Responsible for range and new product development, range vitality, and product life cycle management.
Opportunity to develop knowledge and experience managing a diverse product portfolio

Due to exciting growth, an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Product Manager - Workplace Safety to join our team is available. The role will see you responsible for developing, sourcing and implementing a portfolio of products that delivers suitable outcomes to customers and achieve revenue and profitability targets set by the business.

Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Research, evaluate and apply market intelligence in ranging decisions
Identify product range gaps and expansion opportunities
Responsible for range development and vitality, including the effective transition of product additions and deletions to mitigate risk to the business
Market competitive pricing on all products - strong focus on core range products.
Actively participate in development and implementation of initiatives required to improve sales, profitability and market share
Coordinate product initiatives in relation to development, sourcing and price position
Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage new business opportunities
Commercial terms negotiation, performance management, and continuous improvement activity with suppliers.

What you will need to succeed:
Experience in product development, sourcing, or category management specifically in Workplace Safety/ Personnel Protective Equipment or Lifting & Rigging
Ability to innovate to improve profitability through analytics or market analysis
Ability to manage challenging suppliers and solve complex problems
Confident negotiator, influencer and communicator
Exposure to procurement and sourcing
Understands the facets of product development, innovation and funnels
Strong execution focus and bias for action
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or management is highly regarded
