The Role
The APS3 Administrative Assistant will support the Retail Services team to manage the contract for Retail Stores services. For this role you will have a background in service delivery with strong organisational skills to provide both financial and administrative assistance.

Your daily tasks will include:
Processing invoices and managing purchase orders,
Managing the shared email inbox,
Organising travel and accommodation bookings,
Coordinating communication including managing the Retail Services webpage,
Supporting meetings, including booking conference rooms, coordinating meeting times and taking minutes, and
Assisting other team members in the day to day operation of Retail Stores Services.

About our Team
The Retail Services team manages the contract for Retail Stores services. The Retail Stores contractor provides a range of warehousing, stores and equipment management services to customer units and individuals on selected Defence bases. Services include:

Warehousing,
Local distribution of general stores,
Inventory issue & receipt (Explosive Ordnance, weapons, dangerous goods, aircraft spares, packaged fuel, medical, dental, Clothing and Personal Equipment, furniture, mechanical items - electric and hydraulic),
Management, coordination & control of Warehouses and Supply Customer Accounts,
Local Site Administrator, system and user administration support to Estate & Infrastructure Group.

The contract for Retail Stores is currently managed by Logistics, Estate and Infrastructure Group. In July 2021 contract management of Retail Stores will transfer to Supply Chain Branch. Supply Chain Branch provides warehousing, distribution, clothing store and maintenance services through the implementation of logistics services contracts in support of ADF Operations and Activities, major exercises, and Raise, Train, Sustain activities.
