The Team

At BIG W, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. The store landscape is moving rapidly and we are evolving in line with the changing needs of the families that shop with us. The format team uses their specialist skills and expertise to improve the customer and team experience in-store through continuous development of the store format and design

The Role

We are looking for a Store Format Program Manager to join us until June 2021

The role drives the creation and management of best in class “Selling Floor” and “Back of House” format ideas from concept through to the ability to be executed across multiple stores.

The role works collaboratively with stakeholders across the BIG W business, the broader Woolworths group and suppliers to identify and develop the associated architectural and interior design solutions required to bring the scheme to life in concept and trial stores.

  • Planning the pipeline demand to deliver BIG W transformation journey 
  • Driving and leading divisional requirements for new and changing store formats experiences
  • Developing Business Case and budgets for the portfolio
  • Partnering across the ecosystem to deliver lead and deliver initiatives, including scope, schedule, resources and project deliverables
  • Identify and co-create solutions to mitigate and/or minimise project risks and other issues
  • Facilitate appropriate stakeholder and governance forums to ensure successful program delivery
  • Delivery in line with agreed timelines and budgets

About You

To be successful in this role and thrive in our turnaround culture, you will need to demonstrate

• Minimum 5 years experience in store design or store format development projects

• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
