The Opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated and passionate leaders to join our leadership team in the role of Team Leader in Laverton. As a Team Leader, you will effectively lead and manage your assigned team to meet safety, operational, people, customer and financial performance expectations.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include, however not be limited to:
  • Coaching and Mentoring your team
  • Building a cohesive, collaborative team culture
  • Leading not managing a team of 30-40 people
  • Build and promote a customer 1st, inclusive and safe team environment
  • Ensure housekeeping and safe work practices are adhered to
  • Focus on the continuous improvement of systems and processes
  • Ensure we exceed our DIFOTEF (Delivery In Full On Time and Error Free) targets


Who We’re Looking For

An enthusiastic leader who prides themselves on developing their team and getting the best out of people. Ideally experience in leading large teams would be nice but if you can demonstrate your passion this is more beneficial

You will however bring to the table the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and managing teams
  • Understanding of DIFOTEF
  • Strong customer 1st focus
  • Passion for team and culture
  • Experience in effective performance management
  • Strong planning and problem solving skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations/Distribution Centre Operations, FMCG or other fast paced industries
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft or Google suite
  • Flexibility to meet business needs, including changing shifts and days as required
  • Demonstrate resilience to meet challenging targets and timeframes


Ideally you will also have exposure to Employee Relations or Industrialised Environment but this is not mandatory.
