The team at Spar Express Gwandalan are looking for a reliable and hard-working sales assistant to join their team. Spar Express Gwandalan is a locally owned and operated grocery store and is part of a wider network of stores across the Hunter region. Our employees are passionate about offering customers with exceptional customer service and a positive retail experience.

About You:

• You have customer service, POS and cash-handling experience
• You have a reliable car and drivers’ license
• You are independent, enthusiastic, motivated and capable of following instruction
• Availability to work flexible hours if needed (including early mornings, evenings and weekends)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serving and assisting customers in a professional manner
• Working individually to open and/or close the store
• Upholding store standards of cleanliness and stock presentation
• Attention to detail, the ability to work in accordance with safe work practices and store procedures
