    The Role

    Reporting to the Group Merchandising Manager, this role will see you deliver engaging showrooms that inspire our customers and enhance their shopping experience by ensuring on-trend, creative, consistent execution and maintenance of visual merchandising standards across our showrooms nationally.

    As part of the National Merchandising team, you will be working collaboratively with store teams and relevant support teams to effectively implement and maintain merchandising standards for new products, catalogue releases, promotional campaigns, projects and new initiatives.

    You will enable continuous improvement, and ensure merchandising is visually inspiring and contributes to the improvement of sales in stores nationally.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Working with the National Merchandising Team and Buyers, in creating and maintaining planograms by category and ensuring showroom displays are visually inspiring while maximising all sales opportunities
    • Seeking inspiration for styling trends and ideas and providing feedback to National Merchandising and Buying teams to ensure continuous improvement and innovation
    • Creating and communicating Visual Merchandising initiatives to maximize promotional events and catalogues
    • Working with store teams to consistently execute merchandising plans and standards
    • Working closely with Store Managers and their teams to communicate, educate and build their capability in visual merchandising
    • Delivering an exceptional customer experience environment within the store
    • Assisting with Visual Merchandising in new stores and store refits

    About You

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Qualifications in Visual Merchandising or Interior Design (preferred)
    • Experience working as a Visual Merchandiser in Lighting or Homewares retail (highly regarded)
    • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours when required
    • Strong planning and organisational skills
    • The ability to create innovative and new ideas and concepts
    • Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels
    • Effective ability to coach and develop others visual merchandising skills by providing constructive feedback, and through training and coaching opportunities
    • A strong team ethic, working effectively with others in the pursuit of team goals
