Full Job Description
We are extremely excited to share with you an opportunity to be a part of the first eStore in Queensland. Located in Maroochydore, an eStore combines a traditional supermarket with picking technology to operate a 24/7 fulfilment model. It brings an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and help shape the future of online order fulfilment.

The eStore will be capable of delivering increased order capacity as well as increased availability, supporting the ever-growing customer needs in the area.

Reporting to the eStore Manager and working in partnership with the eStore leadership team, you will coach, support and lead the eCom Floor Team Managers. You will lead the eCom Floor in the absence of or in conjunction with the eCom Manager when required.

As the Assistant Store Manager - Capability, your key responsibilities will be to:

Assist in identifying, recruiting and onboarding the team that will lead and operate Queenslands’s first eStore

To lead and coach Team Managers to deliver operational standards and customer service across the eCom Department, including perfect order

Foster an environment focused on delivering a great customer experience both in store and online

Providing coaching, training and mentoring, with a focus on the eCom floor, Grocery Department and Nightfil to deliver operational standards and customer service

Manage the recruitment in conjunction with the Team Managers and the Talent Acquisition Teams

Coordinate Training inline with the training schedule, through workshops and 1:1, side by side with Team Managers to coach and mentor

Work collaboratively with a vast array of stakeholders (team members, Supermarket support teams, Smart Fulfilment etc) to achieve business objectives

This role best suits a candidate with experience in Retail management and working to budgets to achieve business targets. Your experience in managing performance, development and engagement of team members will also provide you with the knowledge to drive your teams to meet and exceed agreed metrics. Your experience with recruitment and onboarding while working in a highly regulated environment will support your success in this role.
