I am currently recruiting for a District Manager / State Manager for a highly recognized premium men’s wear brand, who are highly recognized for their world class designs and elegant pieces. This brand has a strong presence across the Australian, New Zealand, UK and now USA market.

Your new role
This prestigious global retailer is seeking enthusiastic and sales driven State / District Manager to lead and head up their USA market Based in the New York or Californian sites, the successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and monitoring of all boutiques across the USA and 1 boutique in the UK, 11 boutiques in total. The ability to ensure that all opportunities are maximised through displaying exquisite customer service to premium, VIP clientele is also required and ensuring your teams are also following suit. You will also be accountable for the achievement of the boutique’s sales targets, CRM Management, recruitment and on-boarding. The ability to maintain and build upon long, lasting relationships with your clientele is also a key element to the role together with having your teams have key skills in doing so as well. You will be the main point of contact for all US and UK boutiques and have regular communication with the General Manager delivering updates and feedback on sales, store performance and stock management.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have previous strong experience in a similar environment, specifically within the High End, Luxury Product Industry; men’s wear, “made to measure” experience is essential and senior level management and/or area management experience is highly preferred. You must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of luxury retail sales policies and processes as well as an understanding of how the luxury retail sales floor operates at a national level. The ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with your clientele, peers and teams is also a key element of experience. Essentially, you must have proven success in up-market sales skills with the capability to achieve and exceed targets. You will also have great attention to detail, market knowledge and strong awareness of the needs of the current client market. You will be a strong leader, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
