MAYDAY are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join an established and successful haircare company and lead growth across the retail and e-commerce space. Lead a successful team of 2 and continue to push forward on an exciting growth trajectory.

The role:

  • Lead the growth and expansion of a portfolio of professional brands within the retail and e-commerce space across ANZ
  • Manage a team of two – Retail National Account Manager and E-commerce National Account Manager
  • Design and implement sales strategy across the region, winning in newer sales channels and expanding on existing revenue opportunities
  • Full response for financial reporting and tracking. P&L ownership, driving revenue and analysing profit and margin
  • Build and encourage a progressive team structure and processes that will lead to overall success across both channels
  • Identify opportunities for the portfolio’s of brands to expand into new spaces
  • Drive client relationships and close mid and long-term deals, negotiating terms with business leaders
  • Leading the strategic, planning and reporting processes for the division
  • Continue to build brand awareness and represent the business at industry events

The ideal candidate:

  • A strong background as a Sales Manager / Sales Director within the retail and e-commerce space
  • Exposure to the beauty / haircare / cosmetics industry or a comparable business is preferred
  • Results driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about leading their team to success
  • Ability to manage the sales function end to end which will include financial reporting as well as relationship building and sales
  • Relationship builder and excellent communicator who will bring a positive attitude and presence to the team
