THE ROLE

We are seeking a senior Sales Director, who will lead the expansion of some of our Professional brands (Wella, OPI, Nioxin, Sebastian …) in eRetail (Adore Beauty, Amazon, The Hut Group …) and in Retail (Chemist Warehouse, Sephora, Mecca, Myer, David Jones…) across ANZ.

The candidate we will select will join the ANZ Leadership Team and will already have proven successful experience in Beauty, E-com and retail experience, with strong management, finance and marketing skills. The successful candidate will have the capability and desire to develop and grow with the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full P&L ownership from Sales to operating Income to drive revenue, margin and profit
  • Build, sell and negotiate the short and long term strategy for the channels
  • Build the right team structure, systems and processes to grow professional brands across Retail and eRetail channels
  • Negotiate Joint business plans and Trade terms at Top management level
  • Identify whitespaces for our portfolio of brands and lead the full strategy from vision to execution.
  • Lead the strategic and financial planning process to align with Global long-term plans.
  • Participate in industry associations and leverage relationships to influence brand outcomes and establish partnerships with key players.
  • Represent our brands in public, on-stage industry events, shows and programs.
  • Personally develop and maintain high level strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across Retail and eRetail channels.
  • Build, develop and coach an experienced multi-functional team
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Successful track record in Senior Sales Director position in ECom, ideally in the beauty industry at top management level
  • Strong passion and Good understanding of the Beauty business in Retail & eRetail
  • Bachelor’s degree qualified with MBA Prefered
  • Strategic and positive thinking
  • Strong negotiation and Selling skills
  • People management experience
  • Very Strong Ecom experience and Mastery, and good marketing, finance and management skills
  • High level communication skills (written & verbal), able identify 80/20
  • Strong analytical, thinking and problem solving skills
  • High level ability to set priorities and manage competing demands
  • High level interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively
