We’re on the hunt for an exceptional human to join our team as Retail Manager to lead all of our stores to success. But wait, don’t you just have the one store? Well, yes - but that’s where you come in! This newly created role is a game changing opportunity to establish yourself as the driving force behind the retail growth of The Sheet Society and bring to life a handful of stores in all the best locations across Australia. 

You’ll thrive operating within a busy, dynamic environment across both the retail store floor and at our head office. You’ll be able to motivate your team to ensure they are also supported and enabled to perform at their best.

The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background and have more recently managed a team of Store Managers at either a Regional or National level. 


  • Day to day management of all current and future retail stores, pop-ups and offline brand activations. 
  • Plan sales forecasts and retail goals in the form of KPI’s and ensuring that they are met through analysis and expert management of the team . Take action to grow sales and improve store performance at every opportunity. 
  • Develop and maintain compliance of retail policies and procedures, including OH&S standards.
  • Define, communicate and educate the team on the customer journey, maintaining consistent brand messaging and tone of voice throughout all interactions. . 
  • Responsible for the retail P&L, you’ll manage all retail operations demonstrating an innate sense of business acumen.
  • Executing the expansion of retail stores nationally, you’ll be the driving force behind the roll out of each store, leading the planning & development stages with strategy and insight, as well as ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborating with all departments and external suppliers to execute and drive retail projects. From working with Finance on strategy, Marketing for execution and the Warehouse for stock - you’ll know how to articulate what you need, as well as plan and work to make it happen. 
  • Recruit a dynamic and diverse team of retail superstars that represent our brand, share our values and execute on our goals. 
  • Consistently exhibit and educate The Sheet Society companies’ behaviours and values. As the link between the head office and the front line, you’ll ensure the retail team is united to the brand vision, values & mission.
  • Maintain the performance management and professional development of all retail employees. 


  • Minimum of 5 years experience within the retail environment, in a position that you demonstrated autonomy and accountability.
  • In depth knowledge of retail operations and customer experience
  • Proven ability to deliver results, drive sales and motivate your team
  • A passion for organising and finding efficiencies and delivering an exceptional customer experience 
  • You are self-motivated and a team player, you love to see everyone succeed, and have fun in the process
  • Experience with multi-site management would be desirable as you must be able to manage multiple priorities/stores.
