ASICS is globally renowned for their innovative delivery of high performance and technical sporting goods for athletes at all levels. An outstanding opportunity now exists for a Merchandising Coordinator.
Reporting to the Planning Assistant and working with the various stakeholders your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Process stock replenishments daily for all stores as per delivery schedule.
  • Process inventory adjustments for all stores including good stock returns, faulty product, miscellaneous and delivery discrepancies
  • Prepare pack and hold allocations ahead of peak retail periods
  • Maintain and communicate store delivery schedules to include public holidays, stocktakes etc.
  • Coordinate with DC personnel on stock take adjustment timings together with the relevant store manager
  • Assist with store-to-store transfers

  • Demonstrated good commercial/business acumen

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • High level initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
  • A resilient yet flexible approach and be capable of working autonomously and in a team, within a dynamic fast changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Confidence in a broad range of software packages (Microsoft Office intermediate level, including Excel, Word and Outlook) and google programs
  • The ability to think strategically and identify key opportunities and improvements.
  • High level professionalism, consistent manner.
  • Deliver strong customer service to the Retail stores and store managers.
