We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join as a Sr. Business/Product Manager to grow the Amazon Global Store business in Australia, based from our Sydney offices.

Amazon Global Store is in integral pillar of the Amazon.com.au proposition that today offers close to 60 Million high demand international products, locally to AU customers. We are an exciting, young and innovative business focused on building a leading customer experience around our growing range of relevant international products sourced from Amazon’s global sites. We work with Amazon’s wider global business network, across teams such as search, customer experience, vendor management, engineering, marketing, logistics, finance, legal & compliance to tailor the best that Amazon has to offer globally into a proposition that best suits local customers’ needs.

To excel in this role, you will:

· Define a vision for Australia Global Store that will delight our customers
· Define strategies & create execution plan with local, international, and global teams to drive adoption and revenue growth for the Global Store business.
· Think big and invent new ways to improve Global Store CX, locally and internationally
· Bring analytical horsepower, SQL & Excel skills and a deep curiosity about how things work
· Be willing to "roll up your sleeves" and operate with limited guidance
· Have strong interpersonal skills, able to influence remote teams, both tech and non-tech
· Possess highly advanced project management skills
· Be commercially savvy and have excellent business judgment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


· Bachelor's degree
· 7+ years of relevant experience in product management or general management, ideally in retail or operations
· High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper product & project management techniques
· Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across category or other departments
· Experience using Excel and similar analytical tools to measure performance, determine improvements and innovations, and to support project requests from partner teams
· Proficiency in SQL or a keen appetite to learn
· Superior verbal and written communications skills
· A proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA, PhD or equivalent
· Experience in a technology environment favorable
· Experience in agile, lean startup product management processes.
· High threshold for working and thriving in an ambiguous, fast paced environment – figuring it out and adapting as you go
· Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
