Job Description

Udaya is a large Indian/Asian retail business with 4 retail stores around Sydney. Front facing customer service is a key aspect of our business and we are seeking a self-driven Customer Service Assistant who can oversee a broad range of our day to day customer and counter related activities and commitments at our Wentworthville store.

Position purpose:

Undertake sales and customer service duties to assist in the operation of the Company’s retail function.

Main Tasks:

· Professionally arrange and replenish stock at the aisles & shelves as required

· Attend customers at the aisles and check-out counters for all their enquiries and needs

· Organise check-out counter needs depending on customer flow

· Assist with customer enquires (both face-to-face and over the phone) ensuring a high level of professionalism is observed at all times

· Managing the purchase of goods for sale in an efficient manner

· Carry out basic cleaning activities to ensure clean and tidy presentation of store/shop at all times

· Handle cash and point of sale transactions
