Job Description

What do I need?

The role of Team Leader is to ensure team members operate in accordance with compliance & privacy requirements and to manage operational risk effectively. The role is critical for the direct management of Sales Quality within the Mortgage Lending team and ensuring the team adheres to the Responsible Lending compliance strategies of the business. The key focus is to lead a team to learn, develop and continually grow to deliver effective outcomes that ensure the right solutions for our customers across all brand portfolios.

As well as this you will:

  • Demonstrate people management skills and have experience in a leadership role
  • Be able to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive compliance
  • Demonstrate experience in stakeholder management at all levels
  • Be process driven with the ability to prioritise tasks to a high degree

How will I help?

As a Team Leader you will be a key Member of the Sales Quality Team and your role is paramount to helping contribute the delivery of Westpac’s vision and Strategic priorities.

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the team. You will play an integral role in the facilitation and development of a cohesive team environment and ensure the effective management of all business processes, people, risks and dependencies across the team.

You will be working in conjunction with both managers and stakeholders to ensure all resources across sites achieve business optimisation through efficiently and effectively managing time and resources to achieve performance targets and objectives.
