Your new opportunity

We are now seeking a self-driven and like-minded retail professional to work with our client - Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. to manage a group of accounts with the objective to maintain, grow and achieve sales and profit targets. We are currently recruiting for the Adelaide area.

We are looking for a Sales Associate who will act as an Ambassador for the Samsung brand, actively sell the range of Samsung branded products from all elements within the retail environment across the Home Appliances and Audio Visual categories; as well as demonstrating the convergence between products to consumers to ensure that Samsung has a competitive advantage at each and every store.

The Sales Associate will provide a positive brand experience for the shopper at every touch point within the retail store. You will build brand advocacy through fostering relationships, training, and creating a shopper experience through engagement, merchandising and product demonstration.

Your new role

  • Promoting products by demonstration, presentations and instruction
  • Merchandising - set up of in store displays, including POS merchandising
  • Building close relationships with all store managers ensuring high levels of customer service to stores through management and communication
  • Maintain activity records, audit checks and report on all phases of sales and competitor activity in accordance to management requirements and company procedures
  • Assist in any event support, VIP visits or training nights when required
  • Achieve set targets for sales, product training, merchandising and compliance

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will need to be passionate about the Samsung brand to promote and sell products
  • Applicants must be available to work weekends and late nights
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • 2-5 years' experience merchandising within a retail or reseller environment essential
  • Proven and successful experience at developing relationships
  • Experience with using multiple forms of information to hit sales targets
  • Team player attributes and excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to influence and see matters through to completion
