Let’s talk about responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable Sales and Product Training Manager to join the ANZ Commercial team. You are responsible for the end to end delivery of our learning and development framework for our ResMed retail network and Wholesale Partners. As such we will need someone who consults widely with colleagues, isn’t afraid to jump into multiple sources of data, conduct a needs analysis and build a myriad of training programs to deliver to various audiences.


This role can either be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Queensland and requires regular travel to locations across Australia and some travel to New Zealand.


The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Design, coordinate and manage the delivery of sales training programs and clinical training and education programs across ResMed retail and Wholesale Partner network.
  • Work collaboratively and closely with National Sales Manager/s and State Sales Managers to identify and prioritise sales, product and clinical training requirements to support sales operations.
  • In collaboration with sales and customer service management, assist in the provision of needs-based consumer sales training programs to front-line consumer-facing teams
  • Design solutions training programs and upskill current wholesale team to deliver solutions selling to customer network.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and align ways to continuously improve our training solutions by collaborating with various teams/stakeholders
  • Build a scalable onboarding training program to ensure ResMed retail staff are sufficiently trained and maintain an acceptable level of training and knowledge in relevant products and their clinical application.
  • In collaboration with sales and customer service management ensure ResMed and partner representatives are sufficiently trained in the relevant products and their clinical application so that ResMed’s business is promoted accurately and competitively.
  • Provide clinical expertise and training on ResMed Hospital and Respiratory Care range
  • Remain up to date with own clinical expertise and professional competence
  • Regularly liaise with internal customers to ensure the continued success and applicability of the educational training, sales training and clinical programs. 
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and ability to apply the principles of adult learning and the need to deliver ‘train-the-trainer’ solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Source, engage and manage internal and external specialised training providers to ensure ResMed retail staff are sufficiently trained in the relevant products & services, clinical application and sales techniques.


Let’s talk about you:

You will be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and will be working remotely within a dynamic commercial environment. You must possess excellent communication skills with exposure to public speaking and curriculum development.

To succeed in this role, you will have the following qualifications and experience:


  • Previous experience in facilitating a sales training, education programs and clinical training in a blended learning environment (classroom, online learning, one-on-one or virtual training/webinars)
  • Prior experience in conducting a training needs analysis and developing learning content
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively; comfortable in switching communication style to suit different audiences in both written and verbal styles
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the training cycle
  • Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Be proactive and highly motivated
  • Having a strong understanding of CPAP products and Respiratory Care products will be highly regarded
  • Preference of having a successful sales training career in a medical device or pharmaceutical industry
