Polyaire is Australia's largest air-conditioning manufacturer and a market leader in design and distribution of air-conditioning products, with 24 branches located throughout Australia.

The Supply Chain Planner will oversee and optimise our supply chain and logistics strategy. Maximising process and productivity efficiencies, it will be your responsibility to ensure budgets are met, supplier relationships are upheld, and accurate levels of stock are recorded.

Critical to the role is establishing strong relationships with Sales and Operations teams as well communicating with internal and external suppliers. The role will provide support to the State Operations Manager, producing reporting and forecasts for suppliers as well as other supply chain focused tasks.

Reporting to the State Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Determining, implementing and managing key supply chain KPIs.
  • Managing relationships and Service Level Agreements with suppliers.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of supply chain and logistics delivery systems and processes which are involved in delivering products to customers.
  • Utilising the company's inventory/stock management and procurement tool/data, to drive business effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Researching and evaluating current and potential suppliers.
  • Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers.
  • Negotiating contract terms and pricing with suppliers on behalf of the Company.
  • Identifying procurement needs via liaison with internal departments.
  • Entering order details into our internal database which includes suppliers, quantities, pricing, discounts, etc.;
  • Purchasing goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery while communicating any delays to the respective personnel.
  • Assist in annual stock-takes and physical checks as required.

Must Haves:

  • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Role for 3+ years
  • At least 3 years’ experience of working in B2B/channel sales.
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as an Advanced Planning System or ERP, etc.)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
